Air Jordan 1 Retro High Dark Mocha
Jordan Brand continued their tradition of the Black Toe design theme in 2020 with the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Dark Mocha. This highly anticipated release drew inspiration from two iconic Jordan 1 models, the Jordan 1 Travis Scott and the Jordan 1 Black Toe.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Dark Mocha showcases a Sail leather base complemented by black leather around the toe box and luxurious Mocha suede on the heel and ankle areas. The design is accentuated by a black leather Swoosh, the classic Jordan Wings logo on the ankle, and Nike Air branding on the tongue, reminiscent of the original 1985 Jordan 1. A Sail midsole and black outsole round out this striking Black Toe design.
After half a month of wearing them everyday i have to say that the are 95% close to the original, the shape/mold of the shoe is from the GS and not the plain OG of the photo, meaning the whole upper section where the wings are is a lot more different than the OGs . If we take the GS for comparison they are 99% same except the color that i mentioned at my last review. Maybe is because i wear a smaller size? We will see in the future pairs that they dont have a GS cut. The only tiny complain is that they are not breathable and my socks are literally wet every time i wear them and i wear the thinnest breathable socks. The good thing though is that they dont smell a bit!!!. Overall 9/10 . Game changing reps.
Came after two weeks. The box came distorted but its the courier’s fault and for some reason was stuck in transit.
The pros: very good reps. value for money. The shoe is actually good. Very comfy.The suede feels okay. True to size.
The cons: It has a very strong smell of chemical. I will leave them outside at the sun to get rid of it.
The only thing that for me is too off, is the colour. They are very brown instead of that greyish brown of the original. I dont know if it was my shoe or the colour is tricky to replicate.
But other than that trully good shoe. Will buy again!
